NDIS Counselling Support in South East Melbourne
Trauma-Informed Counselling for NDIS Participants
I provide compassionate, person-centered counselling for NDIS Plan-Managed and Self-Managed participants in South East Melbourne.
As a Level 3 registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association and holder of an active NDIS Worker Screening Check, I offer a safe, professional environment where you can work toward your goals at your own pace.
How I Can Support You
Counselling through your NDIS plan can help you build emotional resilience, develop coping strategies, and work toward greater independence in your daily life.
Together, we might focus on:
Managing anxiety, depression, or emotional overwhelm
Processing trauma and difficult life experiences
Building confidence and self-worth
Developing relationship and communication skills
Navigating life transitions and disability-related challenges
Healing from family conflict or past abuse
Strengthening daily living skills
Every session is collaborative and tailored to your specific needs and NDIS goals. We'll move at a pace that feels right for you, without pressure or judgment.
Why Work With Me?
I bring years of experience supporting people through trauma, abuse recovery, and complex emotional challenges. My approach is grounded in safety, compassion, and respect for your autonomy.
I understand that navigating the NDIS can feel overwhelming. I'll work with you to make the most of your funding while keeping the focus on what matters most - your wellbeing and goals.
Flexible Session Options
Face-to-face sessions: My office is located at 203 Poath Road, Murrumbeena, close to Hughesdale station.
Online counselling: Secure video sessions for added convenience and privacy.
Flexible scheduling: After-hours and weekend appointments available upon request.
Bilingual support: Sessions available in English or Polish.
Understanding NDIS Funding
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for Australians with permanent disabilities, giving you greater choice and control over your support services.
Counselling is typically funded under the Improved Daily Living category in your NDIS plan. This helps you develop skills, build independence, and improve your emotional wellbeing.
If you're unsure whether your plan covers counselling, your Support Coordinator can help you review your funding options.
Plan Management Options
NDIS plans can be managed in three ways:
Self-Managed - You manage your own funding and choose your support providers.
Plan-Managed - A Plan Manager handles payments and financial reporting on your behalf.
NDIA-Managed - The NDIS pays providers directly. Please note: I am currently registered for Self-Managed and Plan-Managed participants only.
