Private Health Insurance

If you’re a member of a private health fund, you may be eligible to claim a rebate for counselling services. The rebate amount depends on your level of extras cover, so I recommend contacting your health fund directly to confirm your entitlements before your appointment.

Medicare & Mental Health Care Plans

Counselling services are not currently covered by Medicare or Mental Health Care Plans (MHCP), which are only available for psychologists and a small number of other registered health providers.

If your GP has referred you under an MHCP, it won't apply here, but your private health fund may still offer a rebate depending on your level of extras cover.

If cost is a concern, please feel free to ask about the concession fee or get in touch to discuss what might work for you.

NDIS Clients

Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS clients are welcome.

Counselling can support a range of NDIS goals, including improving daily living, emotional wellbeing, and social participation.
