Trauma Counselling in Melbourne
Gently paced. Shame-sensitive. You set the pace; I hold the frame.
Trauma-informed counselling for people recovering from domestic and sexual abuse, family estrangement, and complex relationships. Available online and in person in Melbourne.
Many of the people I work with come to counselling after years of holding it all together, often without much support.
These are some of the experiences we gently work through together:
Relationship difficulties or toxic dynamics
Domestic and/or sexual abuse
Narcissistic abuse and coercive control
Estrangement from family members
Childhood trauma or emotional neglect
Low self-worth or confidence struggles
Anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm
Grief, loss, or major life transitions
The emotional toll of toxic friendships or workplaces
If any of these experiences feel familiar, therapy can be a space to begin untangling what happened — and to rebuild trust in yourself again.
Whether you're seeking in-person counselling in Melbourne or prefer the flexibility of online therapy, I'm here to support you.
Culturally Sensitive Care
As a counsellor, I recognise that culture shapes how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and our pain.
I provide culturally sensitive counselling for people from diverse backgrounds, including those from LGBTQI+ communities.
Having lived in several countries, I understand how migration, identity, and cultural expectations can influence well-being and self-esteem.
You deserve support from a therapist who genuinely values diversity and respects every aspect of who you are.
Trauma-Informed Counselling
I specialise in trauma-informed therapy, grounded in safety, compassion, and collaboration.
If you’ve experienced abuse, neglect, or other traumatic events, you might live with anxiety, hyper-vigilance, or difficulty trusting others.
Together we’ll work at a pace that feels manageable, helping you recognise trauma responses, regulate your nervous system, and rebuild a sense of safety and self-trust.
You don’t have to do this alone.
Holistic & Human-Centred Approach
I take a human-centred, integrative approach that honours the connection between mind, body, and relationships.
My aim is to create a space where you feel seen, grounded, and supported as you process what’s happened and move toward healing.
With a Master’s in Counselling and training in evidence-based, trauma-specific modalities, I bring both knowledge and presence to our work.
I also offer counselling in Polish for clients who feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their native language.
